Welcome to RYUJIN WORKS. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to RYUJIN WORKS. RYUJIN WORKS operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”).

RYUJIN WORKS is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when you access, browse or use the Services or purchase products through our store.

Please read these Terms carefully. By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use or access the Services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.

By using the Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity required to enter into purchases and agreements under the laws applicable to you.

Products described as universal may require modification, adjustment, fabrication, tuning, additional components or professional installation.

Aftermarket and performance parts may also alter the operation, characteristics or legal roadworthiness of a vehicle. Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation and use of a product complies with applicable vehicle, inspection, emissions, road-use and other laws in their jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights relating to defective, misdescribed or non-conforming goods.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or otherwise begin processing the order. Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can be fulfilled.

We reserve the right, where legally permitted, to refuse, limit or cancel an order in circumstances including suspected fraud, obvious pricing or listing errors, product unavailability, payment problems or other legitimate reasons.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, any amount due to you will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

Please review your order, vehicle compatibility, delivery address and product selection carefully before submitting it.

Once an order enters processing or fulfillment, we may not always be able to modify or cancel it. This does not affect any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights available to consumers.

Returns, withdrawals, refunds and exchanges are handled according to our Return and Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights applicable to the purchase.

SECTION 4 – PRICES, TAXES AND BILLING

Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice. The price charged will normally be the price shown when the order is placed and confirmed.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, customs duties, import fees or other charges will be displayed, communicated or handled as required by applicable law and according to the shipping terms presented during checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

Depending on the destination and shipping method, customers may be responsible for import duties, customs charges or local taxes that are not collected by us at checkout, unless otherwise stated.

You agree to provide accurate and current purchase, payment, billing and account information.

You represent that you are authorized to use any payment method submitted for an order.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, calculation or listing errors. Where an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact you and handle the order in accordance with applicable law.

Shipping and delivery times displayed through the Services are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Processing or delivery may be affected by product availability, carrier operations, customs processing, destination, public holidays, weather, logistical disruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

If a delivery cannot be completed because incorrect or incomplete information was supplied by the customer, additional reasonable shipping costs may apply where permitted by law.

Some products may be shipped separately or directly from different fulfillment locations or suppliers. As a result, a single order may arrive in multiple packages or at different times.

Risk of loss or damage will remain allocated according to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms transfers risk to a consumer earlier than permitted by mandatory consumer-protection law.

SECTION 6 – INSTALLATION, VEHICLE FITMENT AND USE

Many products sold by RYUJIN WORKS are aftermarket, styling, tuning or performance components intended for automotive use.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, installation instructions, professional installation, vehicle coding, tuning, modification or additional hardware may not be included.

Professional installation is recommended for products where specialist mechanical, electrical, bodywork, fabrication or tuning knowledge is required.

Customers should not install, cut, drill, paint, weld, modify or otherwise alter a product if they believe it is incorrect, damaged or unsuitable and intend to request a return.

Improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification or use outside the intended application may cause damage or injury. Nothing in this section excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Services and the content created or owned by RYUJIN WORKS, including our brand name, logos, graphics, text, website design, original photography and other proprietary content, are owned by or licensed to RYUJIN WORKS and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Product names, vehicle names, manufacturer names and third-party trademarks appearing on the Services remain the property of their respective owners.

References to vehicle manufacturers or trademarks are generally used to describe compatibility or fitment and do not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

You may use the Services only for lawful personal purposes unless we provide written permission otherwise.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or republish our proprietary content without authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.

SECTION 8 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to tools, applications or services supplied by third parties.

We do not necessarily control or monitor those third-party services. Your use of them may also be governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for issues caused solely by independent third-party tools outside our reasonable control.

RYUJIN WORKS is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, sales and purchases made through our store are made directly with RYUJIN WORKS.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not the seller of products offered by RYUJIN WORKS and is not responsible for the performance of the sales contract between you and RYUJIN WORKS, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.

Personal information collected through the Services is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Because Shopify hosts and supports the Services, certain personal information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers acting on our behalf.

SECTION 12 – REVIEWS, FEEDBACK AND USER CONTENT

If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, comments, suggestions or other content to us, you represent that you have the necessary rights to provide that material and that it does not violate applicable law or another person’s rights.

Where permitted by law, you grant RYUJIN WORKS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display content that you intentionally submit for publication, marketing or review purposes.

We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, infringing, fraudulent or otherwise inappropriate.

We will not knowingly present paid or incentivized reviews as independent customer opinions without appropriate disclosure.

Occasionally, information in the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccurate specifications, incorrect pricing, availability errors or omissions.

We aim to provide products that correspond with their descriptions and comply with the legal requirements applicable to the transaction.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not provide additional warranties beyond those expressly stated by us, the manufacturer or required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory guarantees, warranties, remedies or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Consumers in the European Union may have statutory rights relating to conformity of goods and legal guarantees in addition to any commercial warranty offered.

SECTION 17 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RYUJIN WORKS will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for damage resulting solely from improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, incorrect vehicle application or use of a product contrary to supplied instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded, defective products where mandatory product-liability rules apply, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory warranties, remedies or other mandatory consumer rights.

SECTION 18 – INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims suffered by us as a direct result of your unlawful use of the Services, intentional misconduct, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.

This section does not impose liability on consumers beyond what is permitted under applicable law.

SECTION 19 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

These Terms and transactions with RYUJIN WORKS are governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating RYUJIN WORKS, subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to customers in their country of residence.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of protections that cannot be waived under the laws that apply to you.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts or dispute-resolution bodies determined under applicable law.

SECTION 23 – EU/EEA CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS

Where applicable, consumers purchasing online within the European Union or European Economic Area generally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without providing a reason, subject to statutory exceptions.

Nothing in our voluntary return policy reduces statutory consumer rights.
